What I’ve come to learn after years of photographing weddings is that each couple brings their own vibe to their big day in one way or another. Geizy and Jack’s Tucker’s Farmhouse wedding was as lively and fun-filled as they are (despite some inclement weather.) This was a wedding to remember!
An Aldi Romance
Geizy and Jack started as coworkers at Aldi, but once they started hanging out together (and playing video games until the sun came up) things began to shift. Jack came over to Geizy’s house and met her family and that was a wrap. They both knew at that point that the hunt was over & they’d each found the one. Fast-forward to earlier this month, and they made it official at a gorgeous Green Cove Springs Venue in a very memorable ceremony.
Rainy Green Cove Springs Wedding
Tucker’s Farmhouse is a really cool, rustic outdoor venue in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Not only does the property itself showcase Florida’s beauty, the staff handled everything from coordinating the day to the florals and it was all so well done. This former family farm is such a charming venue and it was perfect for their big day!
If rain on your wedding day is good luck then Geizy and Jack are swimming in good fortune. It absolutely poured down the day of their wedding. Luckily I had a full wedding party set of umbrellas and the rain did make for some pretty cool shots. At the end of the day you just can’t always predict the weather when you’re planning a wedding months in advance. It’s important to come prepared and expect anything. At the end of the day, you still end up married to your favorite person in the entire world and everything worked out beautifully. Between all the vendors, these two had a magical wedding day that even a downpour couldn’t stop.
A Fun-Filled Reception
Even the getting ready process was a blast. Geizy and her friends belted out “Party In The USA” by Miley Cyrus in their robes. Between the champagne and the sunglasses, they had a great time! The love and support from their family and friends that day was so evident from start to finish. Once they’d exchanged their vows, they headed to the reception for pizza and cake. The combo of the rain and the lighting created a cozy atmosphere like we’d all been invited over for a night in with the lovely couple. They ate, they danced, they were married!
Geizy and Jack, I loved getting to know you two and having the honor of photographing you on such a milestone occasion. The pleasure was all mine. I wish you two a lifetime of happiness and blessings!

Geizy is my granddaughter and I am so proud of the woman she has become. I am also so proud of Jack and the wonderful, kind, sweet human being that he is. Well to start I want to say that I’d never been to a rain poured wedding before and I must admit I was super worried and sad about that rain, but the rain did not stop the fun that went on that day. One thing I learned was that these two families can party like rock stars! I never imagined that the wedding photos would come so so beautiiful. I must say that these photos couldnt have come out any more beautiiful had it been a sunny day that day. It even looks like the rain made everything look more majical. The photo where they are all standing on the boardwalk made the photo look like if the wet grass was a lake ☺ I for one had a blast and cannot be happier wiith the job that the photography crew did on that day. Everything and everybody did a wonderful job. It seemed to me like you guys had magic between your sleeves to make all of this look like if it had not just poured on this wedding lol. Congrats to all of you and congrats to Geizy and Jack. Jack and Geizy I love you both so much. May God be the center of your life together for always and forever. ❤
I am Geizy’s mom. It was a beautiful wedding. At the beginning I was worried about all the rain, but everybody worked so hard to create a beautiful place for them. The pictures are breathtaking.
