Spring is such a great season for Florida weddings! The weather is warm but mild. Flowers are in bloom and the air is full of excitement for good things to come. Mayanna and Leandro’s spring wedding at Azaleana Manor embodied all of these things! These two complement each other so well and I had so much fun getting to know them on their big day.
Azaleana Manor itself is the perfect marriage between vintage charm and modern elegance. Surrounded by impressive landscaping and trees dripping with spanish moss, it is a beautiful venue choice. (It’s also one of my favorites to photograph!)
Getting Ready
Mayanna & Leandro spent the morning preparing for their nuptials in the on-site luxury suites and I knew already I was in for a treat. The excitement in the air is crystal clear in the photos! She and her bridesmaids popped champagne and celebrated what was to come. While Mayanna got dolled up in the makeup chair, Leandro had an appointment with the mobile barber to prepare for their trip down the aisle. Afterwards, he and his groomsmen shared laughs while they awaited the ceremony.
First Looks
If you’ve been following my photography for any amount of time, you know how I feel about first looks and private vows. As many times as I’ve photographed these intimate moments, it never gets any less special! Mayanna strolled out to Leandro who nervously awaited his soon-to-be bride, and his reaction did not disappoint. Do you see the emotion on his face? I could do these every day and still not grow tired of it.
Spring Ceremony at Azaleana Manor
This wedding was a whole vibe from start to finish! Mayanna & Leandro wove in countless personal touches that showcased their personalities. Mayanna has such a bright, vibrant personality and it was evident in every design choice they made for their big day. Some of them were fun like the Connect 4 style game and the disco balls seen around the venue. Others were heartfelt, like Mayanna’s grandfather’s handwriting on the inside of her dress.
The seasonal pops of blue florals throughout the ceremony were perfect for a spring ceremony overlooking St. John’s River. Their big day was classic and elegant but also fun and lively, just like the lovely couple. Every photo, every moment of this wedding radiated happiness. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a bride smile as much as Mayanna did and her joy was contagious.
From start to finish, Mayanna & Leandro’s spring wedding at Azaleana Manor was a sight to behold. The combination of beauty and fun with both the couple and the decor is going to be difficult to top!
