As a wedding photographer, I have the pleasure of getting to photograph some of the most gorgeous venues the area has to offer.  I joined Sarah & Shane for their emotional wedding at Club Continental in Orange Park, FL back in December.  It was such a beautiful and emotional day for this couple and their family, and I am so glad I got to be a part of it.

Club Continental is an Orange Park mansion that radiates vintage elegance. The property is surrounded by centuries-old oak trees with Spanish moss draped on nearly every branch.  If that’s not enough to woo you, you should see the  views of the St. John River!  It was the perfect venue for Sarah & Shane for their big day and matched their romantic vibe perfectly.  

A Holiday Club Continental Wedding 

The ceremony took place on December 10th and the couple opted for a holiday influenced theme.   The grounds featured festive red and white floral arrangements seen in Sarah’s bouquet along with touches of fresh greenery.  Classic red roses and holiday bows graced the lamps around the Club Continental property. Their guests faced the two of them and a breathtaking view of the St. John River during their outdoor ceremony.  It was a beautiful day for a wedding celebrating this loving couple.  

Sarah & Shane’s Private Vows 

Following their ceremony, they opted to have private vows with each other and I was there to capture every moment.  I hope to see this become a more common tradition with couples on their wedding day.  As wonderful as it is to share your joy with your family and friends, private vows are very intimate.  This gives couples time to be free with your emotions and soak up a few quiet moments between  the two of you. Sarah and Shane are so in love and their vows to each other were incredibly romantic.  It was an honor to get to be present for such an emotional moment for the two of them.

An Emotional Day 

Following an emotional wedding ceremony, I snapped a few shots of the bride and groom with their family members at their reception.  Their families were wonderful and at times, just as emotional as Shane & Sarah.  Happy tears definitely flowed freely that day!  The bridal party was thrilled for these two.  They’ve got great support systems for the years to come, and who could ask for more?  They danced, they laughed, they enjoyed the champagne wall (isn’t that a great touch?) and the reception was a blast!  All things considered, it was the perfect ending to such a sweet day.

The joy these two felt on their big day radiated to everyone near them, myself included.  Sarah & Shane, I hope that happiness continues for many, many years to come!  Thank you for choosing me as your photographer and trusting me to capture your precious memories of your nuptials.  Congratulations!
