You all know I love my weddings and engagement sessions. It is a different experience and such an adrenaline rush to be part of a surprise engagement session! Every proposal is special and meaningful –after all, it’s the beginning of the rest of your life together. If you’re planning to propose soon, look no further for ideas. Patrick pulled off a romantic beach proposal in St. Augustine and Stephanie was so surprised!
Planning A Proposal
If you’re planning to propose but the actual planning isn’t your thing, don’t be afraid to get outside help! I’ve heard countless times that proposing is nerve wracking. Take some stress off your shoulders and enlist the help of an event planner, or take to the internet for ideas! Even the smallest details can make a huge impact, and Patrick chose very well. This session was golden!
Patrick and Stephanie are South Florida natives. They were visiting the St. Augustine area when he proposed. He recruited Endless Possibilities Event Planning to assist with one of the most gorgeous set-ups I’ve ever seen. This event planning business specializes in all things weddings. From proposals to bridal showers, the weddings themselves and everything in between, they handle it all. For Patrick’s proposal, they set up an amazing beach picnic spread. It was complete with candle-filled lanterns, fresh flowers, pillows & champagne. Patrick’s vision was like something straight out of a movie.
Popping the Question
As if Patrick’s romantic beach proposal could get any better, they started their evening with a stroll along the water. It was such a beautiful evening, the weather couldn’t have cooperated more. The waves lapped against the shore and I waited patiently for the two of them to arrive.
They walked hand-in-hand down the beach towards the blanket on the sand. Stephanie had no idea any of this was coming! I snapped photos of her surprise as Patrick knelt down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Isn’t it swoon-worthy?
She clearly said yes! Afterwards, they celebrated by popping a bottle of champagne. With champagne flutes in hand, they enjoyed the view and some chocolate covered strawberries. Can you believe the ambiance those lanterns provided? What more could a girl ask for from a future husband?
Patrick and Stephanie, it was an honor (and so much fun) to be able to capture such an intimate moment between the two of you. I can’t wait to see what the two of you have up your sleeve for your wedding. Congratulations!
