A Small, Colorful Wedding in Atlantic Beach
Sarah and Brandon invited me down to Atlantic Beach for their intimate wedding at One Ocean Resort. I love intimate weddings! Brides have all the fun of decorating their special day without the overwhelm of planning a large affair. Intimate weddings are perfect for brides who only want to invite their closest friends and family.
One Ocean Resort was the perfect wedding venue for these Atlantic Beach locals. The ceremony space was open and bright. The architecture of the resort went along beautifully with their ocean inspired, blue color scheme. The resort provided the catering as well. This makes planning a lot easier on the bride!
Adding Special Touches to Your Wedding Day
Sarah and Brandon’s wedding was extremely family oriented. They incorporated so many details into their look that had special meaning for them. Sarah’s mom made her earrings from her Nana’s ring. Sarah’s sister has a ring made from the same stone. Brandon’s suit was custom made. The locket he wore was a family heirloom.
Sarah couldn’t forget to incorporate her love for cats into her day! She had an adorable “something blue” ring holder to add to her wedding details. She has 5 cats in total and included all of their names into her wedding cake!
Adding special touches like these to your wedding day makes it that more meaningful. Someday, you just might pass these traditions down to your own children and grandchildren. Wearing family heirlooms is a comforting reminder that your loved ones are supporting your new adventure every step of the way. Incorporating details that feel like you are a wonderful way to confidentially go into your marriage celebrating exactly who you both are as a couple.
